As the old saying goes: “He was a skater boy. She said, ‘See you later, boy'” — and we now know exactly when we’ll get to see them again, since SK8 the Infinity unveiled a weeklong event titled “∞WEEK” that will commence on August 8 later this year!

A special event attended by voice actors Tasuku Hatanaka (Reki) and Chiaki Kobyashi (Langa) will be held at the Palet Civic Theater in Okinawa — where the hit anime is set — to conclude the week on Sunday, August 14 at 2pm JST, with tickets currently on sale.

Further details about ∞WEEK” are yet to be revealed.

SK8 the Infinity was directed by Hiroko Utsumi (Free! – Iwatobi Swim Club) at studio Bones for a Winter 2021 broadcast, with series composition by Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass) and character designs by Michinori Chiba (Mobile Suit GUNDAM Iron Blooded Orphans).

An unspecified new project for the original anime was announced last July, three months after the first season’s conclusion.
