A new preview video and the opening and ending theme song performers have been revealed for Black Summoner (known in Japan as Kuro no Shoukanshi), an upcoming TV anime based on the fantasy light novel series written by Mayoi Doufu and illustrated by Kurogin about an amnesiac young adventurer who discovers within himself a dark thirst for battle.

 

The opening theme, entitled “Dounchuu DEAD END”, is performed by retbear (unknown Vo:10fu). The ending theme, entitled “Wherever”, is performed by Minori Suzuki.

The original Black Summoner novels are published in Japan by Overlap under their Overlap Bunko imprint, and an English language version is also available from J-Novel Club, who describe the story of Black Summoner as follows:

The Black Summoner TV anime is directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike and features animation production by Satelight. The series will broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX and other stations beginning on July 09, 2022.
