A new trailer and three new cast members have been revealed for Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV (known in Japan as Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka, or “Danmachi” for short), the ongoing TV anime adaptation based on the series of fantasy light novels written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. The new cast members include:

Saya Fukuzumi as Marie.

Taito Ban as Luvis Lilix.

And Takaaki Uchino as Dormul Bolster.

The original Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? light novels are published in Japan by SB Creative under their GA Bunko imprint, and an English language version is also available from Yen Press. Based off of a light novel of the same name written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, Is It Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? is set in the world of Orario, where adventurers band together and look for treasures in an underground labyrinth known as Dungeon. However, for Bell Cranel, fame and riches are secondary to what he wants to find the most: girls. He soon finds out though, that anything can happen in Dungeon, and winds up being the damsel in distress instead!

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV is directed by Hideki Tachibana and features animation production by J.C. Staff. The series will broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX and BS11 beginning on July 22, 2022, with an additional broadcast to follow on AT-X beginning on July 25, 2022.
