We already know that The Quintessential Quintuplets are having the time of their lives sitting well near the top of the Japanese box office, but the tie-in game that released shortly after the film, The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie ~ Five Memories of the Time I Spent With You ~, has also seen success. The official Twitter for the game confirmed today that it has already sold a whopping 50,000 copies – not bad for an anime visual novel game!

The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie ~ Five Memories of the Time I Spent With You ~ was released for the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 on June 2 and according to Famitsu, in the first three days of sale the game ranked second and fifth on their respective platforms. Over both platforms, Famitsu stated that the game had sold 30,469 copies in its first three days.
This doesn’t come as a surprise as each store selling the game had one Nakano sister set for it, meaning you’d need to buy five versions of the game to get all The Quintessential Quintuplets pre-order bonuses.
