The official website for the Toku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru ~Setsugetsuka~ trilogy anime film project has posted an 80-second full trailer for its second chapter “Tsuki no Maki” (Chapter Moon). Along with the tagline “The first summer vacation has come to our Honmaru,” the trailer shows the sword boys enjoying their three-day summer vacation.

Following the first chapter “Yuki no Maki” (Chapter Snow) in May, the second chapter directed by Tomoaki Koshida (TV series second season director) is set to be released in Japan on July 8, 2022. Then the third chapter “Hana no Maki” (Chapter Flower) directed by Sumie Noro (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle assistant director) will follow on September 1.  

A total of 24 sword boys will be newly featured in the trilogy, and 14 new sword boys who will appear in the second chapter are: Hyuga Masamune (CV: Yuki Kaji), Azuki Nagamistu (Yoshihisa Kawahara), Kenshin Kagemitsu 7Tsubasa Yonaga), Kote Kirigou (Yuya Hirose), Buzengou (Taku Yashiro), Chiyoganemaru (Tarusuke Shingaki), Chatan Nakiri (Sougo Nakamura), Nenekirimaru (Kenichiro Matsuda), KuwabaGou (Kento Ito), Matsuigou (Shunichi Toki), Suishinshi Masahide (Atsushi Abe), Minamoto Kiyomaro (kenji Akabane), Oninaru Kunitsuna (Tomoyuki Morikawa), and Sanchomou (Kazuhiko Inoue).
