Voice actress Miho Okasaki, best known as Rimuru Tempest in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime franchise, has announced that her first full album “BLOOMING” is set to be released from KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE on August 17, 2022. She says on Twitter, “Please let my big dream bloom together!”
After graduated from Japan Narration Acting Institute, she made her voice acting debut in November 2017. Rimuru was her first leading character, and with her highly acclaimed performance of the role, she won the Rookie Actress Award at the 14th Seiyu Awards in 2020. Meanwhile, she made her singer debut under her own name with her first single “Happiness” in September 2021, then released her second single “Petals” (TV anime The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! second cour ending theme) in November of the year.
In addition to the two single songs, the 12-song album “BLOOMING” will also include hew news song “Infinite,” the opening theme for the summer 2022 TV anime Extreme Hearts, in which she is cast as one of its main characters, Saki Kodaka. The song was already introduced in the anime’s first PV, and will be released digitally on July 1 before the release of the album.
