Get ready to throw down in the name of (or against) the Joestar bloodline, because JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R officially has a launch date. Bandai Namco Entertainment announced plans to bring the brawler based on Hirohiko Araki’s life work to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 2, with an Early Access demo set to arrive soon on PS4 and PS5.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R features 50 playable characters from every story arc, and the upcoming demo will offer up a sample of online PvP and practice modes. To celebrate the news, a fresh gameplay trailer is here with the first in-game look at newcomers Robert E. O. Speedwagon, Mariah, Pet Shop and Diego Brando.

 

 

Pre-orders are now live for the game for all platforms except digital on Switch, and all pre-orders come with a bonus Green Dolphin Street State Prison Jacket costume for Jolyne Cujoh. Here’s a breakdown of all the pre-order editions:

 

  • Standard Edition ($49.99): This includes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R
  • Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99): This includes Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, an Animation Special Event Color Set for the following characters (Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Giorno Giovanna), and the Season Pass, which grants four new playable characters, two exclusive costumes (Rohan Kishibe First Appearance Costume” & “Mohammed Avdol’s Father? Costume”), and two days of early access to all Season Pass characters.
  • Collector’s Bundle ($99.99): This includes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, an Animation Special Event Color Set for the following characters (Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Giorno Giovanna), and a Special Color version of the Grandista series Jolyne Cujoh 10 in. statue.
