As we head into the summer TV anime season, the aptly titled mystery TV anime Summer Time Rendering will be continuing one, this time with a brand new opening theme song. The official Twitter account for the adaptation of the manga series by Yasuki Tanaka, revealed tonight that Asuka will be performing the opening theme “Natsuyume Noisy” for the next part of the series, which starts in July.

The Summer Time Rendering TV anime is directed by Ayumu Watanabe (Children of the Sea) at OLM. The series is set to stream both in Japan and internationally at some point on Disney+ with the TV broadcasting starting on April 14. The original manga series by Yasuki Tanaka was first released on the Shonen Jump+ service in Japan, with the 13 volume series picked up by Udon Entertainment for English audiences, which describes the series as such:

 

A tragic incident calls a young man named Shinpei back to his hometown on the remote island of Higotoshima, Japan. But something sinister awaits upon his return, and a chilling sequence of events unfolds that will have dire consequences for Shinpei, for Japan, and for the entire world!
