The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Kugane Maruyama’s dark fantasy light novel series Overlord announced the opening and ending theme song performers for its forthcoming fourth season today.

The opening theme song “HOLLOW HUNGER” is performed by two-member digital rock unit OxT, consisting of vocalist Masayoshi Oishi and guitarist/composer [email protected]. They previously performed the first season’s opening theme “Clattanoia,” the second season’s opening theme “GO CRY GO,” and the third season’s ending theme “Silent Solitude.” So they will provide a theme song for the anime for four consecutive seasons.

As their 12th single, “HOLLOW HUNGER” is set to be released in Japan on July 27. Their official website introduces the song as, “Oishi Masayoshi (vocal) sings with bewitching passion on this song with a Spanish-influenced sound.”

Meanwhile, the ending theme song “No Man’s Dawn” is sung by female singer Mayu Maeshima, the first vocalist of the contemporary creative unit MYTH & ROID. The unit provided the first season’s ending theme “L.L.L.,” the second season’s ending theme “HYDRA,” and the third season’s opening theme “VORACITY.” She left the unit in November 2017 to pursue her solo singer career, and has released two singles and one album.

As her third single, “No Man’s Dawn” is set to be released in Japan on July 27. And her another new song “story,” which will be featured as the opening theme for the summer 2022 TV anime Uncle from Another World, will also be available on August 3.
