Two new cast members and a new key visual (below) have been revealed for SHINE POST, an upcoming TV anime based on the idol-themed mixed media project by Konami Digital Entertainment and Straight Edge about an aspiring idol group that struggles to make it big in the entertainment industry. The new cast members include:

 

A character visual of Yuuki Hinase from the upcoming SHINE POST TV anime. Yuuki is a mature woman with brown hair and purple eyes who wears a light blue Chanel suit, stockings, and high heeled shoes. She supports herself with a cane in her left hand.

The story of SHINE POST follows TINGS, an aspiring idol unit that has big dreams despite producing small results. They seek the “best manager in the world” to help them break out of their slump, but the man that they hired – Naose Hinaki – is completely unmotivated. However, Naose may just have a hidden talent that will help TINGS to succeed…

 

Standing beneath an enormous subway mural of their rival idol group HY:RAIN, the girls of TINGS attempt to hand out flyers for their band to largely indifferent pedestrians in a new key visual for the SHINE POST TV anime.

The SHINE POST TV anime is directed by Kei Oikawa and features animation production by Studio Kai. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan beginning in July of 2022.
