The Shinsuke Sato (I Am A Hero, Bleach)-directed sequel is set to be released in Japan on July 15, 2022. And the site announced that simultaneous screenings in the IMAX, MX4D, 4DX and DOLBYCINEMA theaters across Japan are also scheduled. Sato says, “This is a limited-time-only screening during the theatrical run period, so if you miss this opportunity, you will not have another chance to see the film. Please come and see ‘Kingdom 2’ in the best possible environment, with a huge screen and overwhelming sound.”

And three additional cast members are announced – Koichi Sato as Ryo Fui, Hiroshi Tamaki as Shou Hei Kun, and Yusuke Hirayama as Moubu.
