Although screenwriter Keiko Nobumoto passed away in December of 2021 at the age of 57, her legacy lives on, and now a group of her colleagues is paying tribute to her memory with a special screening and talk event entitled “The World of Screenwriter Keiko Nobumoto ~ Its Charms and What She Left Behind ~” which will be held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Hall Mixa venue on May 07, 2022.

The event is moderated by screenwriter Dai Sato and features directors Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy) and Tensai Okamura (WOLF’S RAIN) and producer Masahiko Minami as guests. The screenings include Episode 04 of Cowboy Bebop, Episode 03 of WOLF’S RAIN, and Episode 02 of Space Dandy as well as a talk session reflecting on Nobumoto’s life and influence. The event is scheduled to run from 12:00pm to 5:50pm JST. Tickets cost 3800 yen ($29.05 US).
