Following the well-received teaser clip, the official YouTube channel for the three-member Japanese girls band the peggies posted a full music video for their new song “Highlight Highlight” today, which has been featured as the OP theme for the TV anime adaptation of Soichiro Yamamoto’s (Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san) comedy manga In The Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki.
The band was formed in 2009 and has provided the theme songs for various anime series, such as BORUTO -NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS- (2017), Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (2018), Sarazanmai (2019), Rent-A-Girlfriend (2020), and My Hero Academia (2021). The refreshing rock tune was already digitally released on April 1, then, its CD single will be available on April 20 as their seventh major single.
