Ahead of its premiere day of April 9 in Japan, the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Yasuhisa Hara’s historical adventure manga Kingdom has posted a new visual for “Sei Kyou’s Rebellion,” which will be told in the beginning of its next fourth season. The visual depicts a tense face-off between Eisei and Seikyo .

Following the 38-episode first season in 2012-2013, the 39-episode second season in 2013-2014, and the 26-episode third season in 2020-2021, the much awaited fourth season is set to premiere on NHK General TV at 24:00 on April 9 (JST), then will also be streamed on Crunchyroll to its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe (excluding French-speaking territories), Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS and India.
