2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the first episode of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure TV anime and to celebrate the series will be holding a myriad of events across the country, as well as releasing a brand new game and more of the STONE OCEAN anime on Netflix. Today, the 10th-anniversary events were announced at a stage for the series, including a Tokyo Skytree takeover, two different exhibitions, and a music encyclopedia!

Starting with Tokyo Skytree, from May 10 to August 9, the top of the tower will see a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure exhibition in the Tembo Corridor, original goods being sold, a JoJo-themed cafe menu, and the entire tower lit up in different JoJo colors. A visual for the event was released.
Next up are two JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure exhibitions, a 10th-anniversary exhibition and JOJO WORLD 2, the sequel to the popular JOJO WORLD exhibition that has toured Japan. Both events will be held this summer in Ikebukuro and will also travel around Japan.
Also announced was a music encyclopedia from LisAni! that encompasses all 10 years of music from the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure TV anime. LisAni! is an anime music magazine in Japan that discusses music in anime, but the JoJo-related encyclopedia will be a separate release that covers the musical aspects of the series more in-depth with interviews with staff, artists and more.
And finally, it was confirmed that the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R video game will be released in early Fall 2022. The game (which the first announcement trailer can be seen above) is an expanded remake of the PS3 JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle game with more anime-inspired aesthetics.
All the details on all the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 10th-anniversary adventures will be announced on the official website for the project.
Part 2 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean will contain episodes 13 through to 24 and will launch all at once in Fall 2022 around the world on Netflix ahead of its broadcast on Japanese TV, which is scheduled for some point in 2022. The series follows Jolyne Cujoh as she goes to prison for a crime she didn’t commit, set 10 years after the events of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. The first part is streaming on Netflix.
