Voice actor Ryusei Nakao‘s talent agency, 81 Produce, announced today that the veteran, who is most well known for voicing Frieza in the Dragon Ball franchise, Mayuri Kurotsuchi in Bleach and many more roles, tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday after undergoing a PCR test and having a slight fever. The 71-year old is currently resting at home and following the guidance of the local health centers.

According to the report, Nakao came down with a slight fever and cough on the morning of April 2 and underwent a PCR test that afternoon. The test come back positive the next day. 81 Produce apologized for any worries this might cause his fans and is working with local authorities for Nakao’s treatment as well as any contact tracing.
