The official Twitter account for upcoming romantic comedy anime A Couple of Cuckoos (Kakkou no Iinazuke) unveiled a parody visual for A Couple of Nekos (Kakkou no Iinyazuke), a TV anime series that’ll begin airing on February 22, 2222.

 

 


 

Artificial Insect KABUTO BORG Victory by Victory

 

You’re never too old to get in on April Fools’ fun, which is why the official Twitter account for the 15th anniversary of Artificial Insect KABUTO BORG Victory by Victory announced an idol game titled Love Insect KABUTO BORG Idol Love Idol.

 

 


 

Ascendance of a Bookworm

 

Ascendance of a Bookworm announced an otome game that is set to release on April 1, 2222, in which you can romance the anime’s various male characters while attending school.

 

 


 

Azur Lane

 

Speaking of crossing genres, the Azur Lane mobile game announced a new battle RPG that is set to release on April 1, 2200.

 

 


 

Black Clover

 

Anime and video games dominate April Fools’ Day pranks, but a few manga also broke out some quality jokes, such as the first edition of CLOVERN, a new magazine hot off the presses from the Clover Kingdom that sports Black Clover‘s Yami on the front cover.

 

 


 

BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense.

 

If the forthcoming second season of BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense. isn’t enough to satisfy you, a new TV anime titled BOFURI: I Like Being Cute, so I’ll Max Out My Maid Stats. is here to fill your heart and stomach.

 

 


 

Bungo Stray Dogs

 

Bungo Stray Dogs continued its long-running April Fools’ Day tradition with another entry in their annual “Bungo Youth Graffiti” series, this time starring Chuya and Paul.

 

 


 

DanMachi – MEMORIA FREESE

 

The DanMachi – MEMORIA FREESE mobile game announced a new “Infinite Firebolt” feature, which celebrates Bell’s frequent use of the spell by allowing players to listen to the many iterations of Yoshitsugu Matsuoka saying “firebolt” at the press of a button.

 

 


 

Don’t Hurt Me, My Healer!

 

Hay fever won’t be a problem this season, as Spring 2022’s Don’t Hurt Me, My Healer and Healer Girl (both of which are coming to Crunchyroll) come together in a special April Fools’ Day visual to find out who is the best healer.

 

 


 

Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle

 

The Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle mobile game announced a new dance exercise mode called “Dokkan Exercise.”

 

 


 

Ensemble Stars!

 

The Ensemble Stars! mobile game released a new playable song titled “BUKUBU NEW STARS!!,” starring the wild BkuB group.

 

 


 

Fate/Grand Order

 

Fate/Grand Order also continued its long-running April Fools’ tradition of releasing a whole new mobile game — Fate/Pixel Wars, an RPG game where you help Goredolf become president, is available to download on Android and iOS.

 

 


 

Godzilla

 

Godzilla descended upon the Hanshin Tiger baseball team in an intense trailer.

 

 


 

Guilty Gear

 

Arc System Works unveiled Guilty Bear, a next-generation fighting game that focuses on cuteness, with 20 playable characters modelled after Guilty Gear Strive‘s roster that you can view through the link in the Tweet below.

 

 


 

Is the Order a Rabbit?

 

Is the Order a Rabbit?‘s official website was updated to “TAKE OUT BLUE BIRD”, in which visitors were able to play an egg-hatching game.

 

 


 

JUJUTSU KAISEN

 

A screenshot of Yaga from the first episode of JUJUTSU KAISEN was subtly edited to add the protagonist from the hit anime series Pui Pui Molcar (whose official Twitter account shared the Tweet with the caption “Pui?”).

 

 

The official account for the JUJUTSU KAISEN manga also got in on the action, sharing a short comic detailing the Hakari Method for getting better grades.

 

 


 

KAGINADO

 

Key crossover anime KAGINADO‘s second season begins this month, but the official Twitter account also announced a 3D edition of the series with a stunning poster.

 

 


 

Kaguya-sama: Love is War

 

Also with a new season on the way in Spring 2022, Kaguya-sama: Love is War‘s official Twitter account was overwritten by an “opposite” key visual, featuring the Four Ramen Emperors of Tokyo.

 

 


 

KonoSuba: Fantastic Days

 

The KonoSuba: Fantastic Days mobile game transformed Kazuma into a frog, who gets a mouthful of Aqua, Darkness and Megumin in an attempt to turn himself back.

 

 


 

Kuroko’s Basketball

 

Kuroko’s Basketball revealed a visual for its updated 10th anniversary project, Chick’s Basketball (Hiyoko no Basuke).

 

 


 

Laid-Back Camp

 

Inspired by the anime film’s latest visual, Laid-Back Camp‘s PR team headed out to create their own campsite.
