The official YouTube channel for voice actress/singer Maaya Sakamoto has started streaming a two-minute music video for her latest song “Sumire,” which will be featured as the OP theme song for the spring 2022 TV anime Deaimon. She is also cast as one of the anime’s main characters, Mari Yukihira.
The song, whose lyrics were written by herself, will be included in her double A-side 32nd single “Sumire / Kotoba ni Dekinai” to be released on May 25, 2022. Another title song “Kotoba ni Dekinai” (I can’t put it into words), written/composed by herself, will be used as the ED theme song for the forthcoming third season of the TV anime Ascendance of a Bookworm.
The music video for “Sumire” features Kento Ohgiya, who co-arranged and played the piano for the song.
