During the Netflix special stage at AnimeJapan 2022 today the streamer released a brand new trailer and visual for the upcoming second season of Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, previewing the new ending theme from millennium parade and announcing that Scott Matthew returns to the franchise for an insert song.

millennium parade‘s “No Time to Cast Anchor” is featured in the above trailer and can be heard as the ending theme song for the series, while Scott Matthew, who performed the ending theme for season one of the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex TV anime, returns to the franchise for the first time in nearly 20 years to perform the insert song “Don’t Break Me Down.”
Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 season 2 will be released worldwide on Netflix on May 23.
