Things are about to get a bit more diabolical, because a new key visual has been revealed for the upcoming Dropkick on My Devil!! X TV anime, and a new cast member has also joined the series: virtual idol Hatsune Miku! Characters settings (above and below) have also been revealed for Miku’s appearance in the show.
Known Jashin-chan Dropkick in Japan, the original Dropkick on my Devil! manga is serialized by Flex Comix in their COMIC Meteor shonen manga magazine. The first season of the TV anime adaptation is streaming on Amazon Prime, while Crunchyroll currently streams the second season, Dropkick on My Devil!! Dash, and describes the story of the series as follows:
Jashin-chan looks back on the day Hanazono Yurine summoned her. So long as Yurine lives, Jashin-chan can’t return to Hell. So Jashin-chan writes Yurine’s name in her “Death NOT” and swears that she’s finally going to land that dropkick on Yurine. Meanwhile, a former subordinate of Pekola and Poporon, Pino, shows up. The Dropkick on My Devil!! X TV anime is directed by Hikaru Sato and Takanori Yano and features animation production by Nomad. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan beginning in July of 2022.
