Every year AnimeJapan, the biggest event on the anime calendar, polls anime and manga fans to see which manga they’d like to see get an anime adaptation over the next year, hoping that producers pick up the series to be animated sometime soon! The results for 2022 were released today with some surprising (and not-so-surprising) inclusions!
Some of the bigger series’ that were on the list last year, like SPY x FAMILY and Komi Can’t Communicate, thankfully don’t appear on the list due to anime adaptations announced or even released! But series’ like Solo Leveling and Senpai wa Otokonoko appear on the list again this year despite their apparent popularity alongside newcomers Kaiju No. 8 and Oshi no Ko.
