Artist and animator Hiroaki Gohda has worked on dozens of anime series over the years — serving as the director of the Ah! My Goddess TV series and creating character designs for Please Teacher! and Bloom into You, to name a few. This month, he’s releasing his first artbook, as well as holding a day-long mini-exhibition in Ikebukuro.

The Sketch Book of Hiroaki Gohda contains more than 450 illustrations, taken from Gohda’s daily sketches.

The book is on sale at the Anime Style online shop and on Amazon JP for 3,600 yen. Orders from Anime Style come with a bonus mini-booklet.

On March 26, visitors to Tokyo’s Ginger & Star Café can take in a mini-exhibition of Gohda’s work. The artbook will also be on sale at the café, along with the mini-booklet offered via the Anime Style online shop.
