Since the shield is featured as the most defensive (hardest) item both in The Rising of the Shield Hero and BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense, March 15 has been designated as “Saiko no Tate no Hi” (The Hardest Shield Day). The date was chosen because of the combination of 3 and 15, which reads 3 (sa), 1 (i), 5 (ko) in Japanese.
To celebrate the day, a special collaboration visual is revealed! In the visual, the protagonists of the two shows, Naofumi Iwatani from The Shied Hero and Maple from BOFURI, are holding their iconic shields together. A four-size wallpaper for PC and smartphone using this visual are now available for free on the official website for The Shield Hero.
