A new key visual, a new preview video, and a new broadcast time have all been revealed for Fushigi Dagashiya Zenitendo (“Mysterious Candy Shop Zenitendo”), an ongoing TV anime based on the series of children’s books written by Reiko Hiroshima and illustrated by jyajya about an enigmatic woman who runs an old-fashioned Japanese candy store with treats tailored to her customers’ deepest and darkest desires.
The story of Fushigi Dagashiya Zenitendo is set in a mysterious candy shop that only fortunate people can find. The shop’s owner, Beniko, offers all sorts of sweets that are custom-designed to ease the worries of the people who eat them…provided the customers follow the rules and consume the candies correctly.
Fushigi Dagashiya Zenitendo is directed by Satoshi Tomioka and features animation production by Toei Animation and Kanaban Graphics. The series will continue to broadcast on NHK E TV with a new time slot on Fridays at 6:40pm JST beginning on April 08, 2022.
