We’ve had reincarnation into another world, reincarnation into this world and even reincarnation into the same world (but at a different time!) but now comes a series where the lead turns into a dog owned by a dog lover named Inukai-san.
The official Twitter account for the ecchi comedy manga My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog. (known as Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta. in Japan), created by Itsutsuse, announced today that the series will be getting a TV anime adaptation in 2023. Alongside the news, the first teaser visual was released alongside an anime illustration by the manga creator featuring the three main girls and the protagonist puppy.
My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog. is serialized on Kodansha’s online Magazine Pocket platform, having started on August 2, 2020, with 39 chapters currently available to read online and the 5th collected volume to be released in Japan on March 17. The anime is scheduled to be released sometime in 2023.
