Tokyo 24th Ward has been tearing up the airwaves with its gripping original story over the past anime season, but next week it’ll be time to take it a little slower and look back at what has happened so far with the series airing a recap episode next week in place of a brand new episode. The news comes from the official Twitter account, which numbers the episode 9.5 and names it “Reversal Film.”

While this isn’t a break for the series, Tokyo 24th Ward has been suffering some production difficulties throughout the season, with the 7th episode of the series being delayed in mid-February for a week “in order to maintain production quality.”

Crunchyroll is streaming Tokyo 24th Ward as it airs in Japan, describing it as such:

The Far Eastern Special Administrative Region, also known as the 24th Ward, is a man-made island. Shuta, Ran, and Koki were born and raised on the island. Their family backgrounds, preferences, and personalities are completely different, but they always stuck together. However, one incident changed their relationship forever. A year afterward, the three friends are reunited by chance at a memorial service held for the incident. All three of their phones suddenly ring simultaneously. Their friend, who is supposed to be dead, is calling and demands that they make a decision about the future.
