It’s time for some ninja nonsense, because a new preview video, a new key visual, and the Japanese TV schedule have all been revealed for In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki (known in Japan as Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi), an upcoming TV anime based on the comedy manga by Soichiro Yamamoto (KARAKAI JOZU NO TAKAGI-SAN) about a capable but shy ninja girl who lives in a remote village that is forbidden from having any contact with men.
The original In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki manga is serialized by Shogakukan in their Monthly Shōnen Sunday manga magazine. Set in a remote ninja village populated by lady shinobi that are forbidden from having any contact with men, In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki follows the daily life of Tsubaki, a ninja team leader who is recognized as exceptional even by the leader of the kunoichi clan. But Tsubaki is troubled, because even though she’s never seen or touched one, she can’t stop thinking about wanting to meet a man.
The In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki TV anime is directed by Takudai Kakuchi and features animation production by CloverWorks. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:
