A new preview video, a new key visual, and the Japanese TV schedule have all been revealed for Heroine Tarumono! ~Kiraware Heroine to Naishou no Oshigoto~ (“To Become a Real Heroine – The Unpopular Girl and the Secret Task”), an upcoming TV anime based on the song by HoneyWorks about a young lady who tries to balance her high school curriculum with a secret part time job as the manager of a popular male idol duo.



The story of Heroine Tarumono! ~Kiraware Heroine to Naishou no Oshigoto~ follows Hiyori Suzumi, a high school student who moves to Tokyo and takes a part-time job as an assistant manager to the male idol duo LIP x LIP in order to make ends meet. Hiyori soon learns that it’s tough to juggle work, school life, and club activities, especially when the talent she’s managing are also her classmates.

Heroine Tarumono! ~Kiraware Heroine to Naishou no Oshigoto~ is directed by Noriko Hashimoto and features animation production by Lay-duce. The series scheduled to broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:


  • TOKYO MX: every Thursday during the 22:30 time slot beginning on April 07, 2022.
  • BS Fuji: every Thursday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on April 07, 2022.
  • Mainichi Broadcasting System: every Friday during the 26:55 time slot beginning on April 08, 2022.
  • AT-X: every Saturday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on April 09, 2022.


Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming for the previous day, so for example the 24:30 time slot on Thursday evening is actually on Friday morning at 12:30am JST.
