Capcom is getting ready to bring three entries in the Resident Evil series to current-gen consoles. Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 biohazard are on the way to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year, complete with improved frame rate and other new features.
In addition to ray-tracing and 3D audio support on the new platforms, the PS5 version will support the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive trigger features. For folks who already have these games on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you’ll be eligible for a free upgrade, and PC players will be able to access a free upgrade patch.
