While we’re excited for the next generation of Pokémon which was announced during the Pokémon Day live stream earlier tonight, the latest two sets of games, Pokémon Legends: Arecus and Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, also got an announcement, confirming new content for both the Hisui and Sinnoh regions – though, technically they’re the same region, but we don’t have time to get into it.
For Pokémon Legends: Arecus, a new software update named Daybreak has been released, which adds a ” mysterious outbreak of Pokémon” that needs to be studied, as well as battling with your allies in the training ground. To help with the studies, using the code ARCEUSADVENTURE will net players 30 of each of the most powerful Pokéball in the game.
What’s more, Pokémon Legends: Arecus will be inspiring a web anime series for “early summer 2022,” likely in the same vein as Pokémon Twilight Wings and Pokémon Evolutions.

Players enjoying a modern Sinnoh in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be able to pick up Oak’s Letter right now via Mystery Gift, letting players have the chance to catch Shaymin.
Both these new content updates are available right now for both Nintendo Switch games.
